How long does it take to see high rankings and website success?

I have one very basic question.  If I take a site and restructure it according to your advice, how long typically will it take to see results.  Following the Backlinks advice (Brad&Andy,Stomping theory) which would then lift your PageRank, but PageRank was only published every 3-6 months, etc.  When my site didn't become visible, I didn't know whether the whole backlinks thing wasn't working anymore, OR whether I just had to sit and be patient.  If I try the SEO2020 theory, how long before I see results?

  6. Web Site Blueprinting (forming your market and KW research into a website structure)

  7. Web Site Implementation

  8. Content Creation

  9. Traffic Building Skills (social networks, blogging, PPC, list building, etc.)

Every market on the Internet is different. There is no set amount of time to get high rankings or produce revenue from your high ranking site. However, if you use the proven strategies taught here, in The Master Plan and University 20/20 you can speed the process up because you will know what you are doing.

PR (Page Rank) is of no consequence to rankings, traffic or revenue. PR is simply how much your site is trusted by Google and how often they re-crawl your website... PERIOD.

It seems funny to me that people place so much weight on gaining PR instead of earning revenue.

The bottom line answer to the question, "how log does it take?", is entirely up to you and the tools that you have at your disposal. If you know what you are doing you can get top 10 rankings quickly. Then it is a matter of converting your traffic to sales.
