Charles,

I'm definately looking forward to The Master Plan...

For those of us not doing IM full-time, I'm wondering if you're going to touch on outsourcing at all? What can be outsourced, when and how?

One of things I love about The Plan is the section...

The Plan Outline & Time Required:

...I would assume you'll have the same type of breakdown in The Master Plan?

As far as the outsourcing goes, for those of us that haven't actually done that to this point, it's a bit of a scary prospect. Probably shouldn't be I realize but a little hand holding concerning this would probably help a lot of people looking to take their business to the next step...

Hi John,

I have done a little outsourcing in the past and it goes pretty smoothly if you work through some of the professional people available on elance.com or rentacoder.com. If you need some guidance on getting started or some pitfalls to avoid with outsourcing, PM me and we'll talk.

On a side note, it would be awesome if all of us here at SEO 2020 could develop a team of exclusive freelancers for writing our initial content once we give them our main theme and keyword phrases and in turn get group pricing for hundreds, if not thousands of original articles (which, by the way, we could syndicate and submit as our own to numerous article directories for more inbound links). Something along the line of Charles' directory submission service, where we have different price points, would be the cat's meow! A price point for 1 individual theme package with 6 articles total (1 index/home page article + 5 separate keyword based articles) and another price point for a 4 theme package bundle (4 index/home page articles + 20 separate keyword based articles) which would be one month's worth of sites to build.

I was a charter member of Portal Feeder and am now with Content Desk, but find the idea of using PLR articles (even if I modify them) are not the best route to go. The problem that I run across is that if I do find a hot, new niche to build a site on, there probably aren't any PLR articles about it in their database yet, not to mention the fact that your websites HAVE to be hosted on their servers, thus keeping you locked into their monthly membership fee for as long as you want your site using all their server side scripts and custom SEO coding. I don't want to be locked into another mini "SiteBuildIt" type of program again. (Had to vent, please excuse me.)

I am now in the process of outsourcing content writing on my own, but with the power of the soon to be formed SEO 2020 Mastermind Membership Group (MMG), we could possibly retain some quality people at an affordable price for all. And hey, while we're at it, how about a team of website designers that were taught to build us customizable DreamWeaver, FrontPage, XSitePro or WordPress templates with the "Master Plan" blueprint designed right in?

Just the beginning of my "Master Plan" MMG wish list...

...this is getting good.

Best Regards,

You've got some great ideas there JoeCool! Keep em coming!

At the moment I either write my own content or use PLR. It's not perfect, but it works Smile I've had some PLR articles that were written by people for whom English is obviously a second language (some have quite good English skills, and I admire them for their ability to write fluently in a second language, but something about the flow of the writing always seems wrong)...

And some PLR are just plain bad! (Where do they find the writers????)

Overall Article Underground articles have been the best, although some are obviously better than others, and all need a bit of rewriting. But it does save a lot of work, and doesn't cost nearly as much as hiring a ghostwriter!

For me, it's all a bit of compromising at this stage of the game Smile This means using PLR along with my own stuff, and using directory submitting software rather than outsourcing, but that's fine for now!

Cheers
Fiona
