| I have always done private whois registrations on my domains to try to avoid spam or other contacts that I don't want to deal with. I'm wondering if doing this is something that is frowned upon by Google or the other SE's, like 1 year registrations may be. Most large (authoritative) sites or companies on the internet probably don't hide their registration info, but I bet most affiliate/adsense marketers do. Has anyone heard anything regarding this? With this be touched upon in the Master Plan? |

I used to hide my whois registrations. But, now, insted of hiding them - I enter fake information, or maybe of my friends' or (his friends' ) or relatives etc.
I register all my domains with different (but fake) whois information. Fakes look like they are not private registrations |
