Hi,

I have 4 sites that are ready to be published.

Charles, Russel, or Sue could you please suggest
a dedicated server for me.

I signed-up with a reseller and could barely
get me set-up, I'm still not set-up after a month.

Same with my register ipowerweb.com I'm going
back to domain-maniac, it maybe more expensive,
but I never had problems.

Thank you,

Jeremy

I use hostgator, liquidweb and pair.com

Hostgator is fast and has 24/7 support & so does Liquidweb... Both are great solutions with superior support. Both have CPanel & Fantastico.

Pair is a bit complex and doesn't have 24/7 customer service but I can add new domains set on a new IP address on-the-fly & they answer urgent requests in minutes (during business hours M - F). Pair has no CPanel so you need to be a little more technically savvy to install things like WordPress and PHPBB, etc.

I hope this helps,

Charles

I personally have had trouble with hostgator and liquidweb turning off scripts on my sites. However PowerVPS has been the best host I've used with their VPS.

I second the PowerVPS vote. I had 2 VPS servers with them before I migrated to one of their mac daddy dedicated servers.

I also use servint.net and spry.com for vps servers.

I also know of a deal where you can get 25 IP addresses (all different class c ip blocks) spread over 5 servers for $100 a month. They allow 5 domains per IP address, but they aren't cpanel based.

Search around and check for online coupons before you buy, it could save you 25% off of your monthly fee.

I've used Dathorn and HostGator in the past and have been kicked off of each of them multiple times. If I remember correctly Gator told me not to come back the last time. Smile

Do you know how to manage a dedicated server? Likely not, if you can't manage a server do not get one.
