Hello All,
I know the plan says to leave off any adsense on your pages until you get into the directories and such... but what if its not adsense. I'm selling a product that is to be shipped, should I take down all order buttons for these products until I get indexed as well? Thanks in advance!

I think anything that bleed your page
no outbound link before you get indexed + listed in 20-30 directories.

Hi Steve-O,
What I'd do would be to put nofollow on your outbound links. Obviously if you're selling a product, then you'll want any beginning traffic to be able to see that product.
And, of course, if it's your own product (which is what it sounds like) rather than an affiliate product, I don't think it would be a problem.
Of course, I'm no expert You'll probably want to wait for Charles to reply as he'd have a better idea than me.
Cheers

I'm prolly gonna take down the order links all together, until my traffic is substantial, I figure its better to be safe than sorry!
Thanks for the replies guys!

Hi Steve-O,
What you are trying to avoid is looking like an ad page. Human edited directories, in general, don't like ad pages and will not approve them. If you like you could PM me your site and I will make an asseessment.
Thanks,
Charles |
