Hi!
First of all let me congratulate Charles Heflin on The Plan and on starting SEO 20/20! I'm sure it will be an invaluable source of sound advice and information for us in the real world of Internet business.
I have a question that I'm hoping someone reading this has some input on.
It would in some cases be useful for me to create sites in asp.net. These sites also need to rank well in the search engines (of course). I would appreciate any feedback on whether aspx-pages etc are ranked/indexed differently as opposed to asp/php/html. Thanks!

Hi Mikael & welcome,
I am not personally familiar with asp but I have found a couple of places that may be able to help you:

The only issue that I know of with asp is making sure that your URLs appear static and not dynamic with long ugly query strings.
Hope this helps,
Charles |

Thank you Charles!
There was some very useful information regarding asp.net and how it relates to seo in the link you suggested. The URL rewriter technique is something I definately will have use for.
All the best,
Mikael |

No, It does not make any difference if it is asp or aspx or php.
The search engines do not favour any particular language.
