Hi All,
I am wondering what proceedure we should follow with regard to frequency of posts on bookmark sites. Do we have to monitor all posts to see if they are still on page 1.
Do they even need to be on page 1?
thanks

I would post your new pages to the bookmark sites under as many related tags as possible for each page of your website. As you add a new page add a new tag post.
There is no need to monitor your tags except to verify that you are posting correctly. You do not need to be concerned with being on page one of the main page of the bookmarking sites because you will get bumped down rapidly.
Post as often as is necessary to keep your site visible under one or more tags that you are targeting. It is futile to try and keep a top spot under very popular tags.
The idea is to just get the word out about new pages of your site. It is a form of branding and over time more and more people will bookmark your content provided that it is of value for your chosen niche.
As more and more people bookmark your posts you will rise to the top in some of the more popular bookmarking sites and your traffic will increase as well. |
