|
|
Hello
I would have a question about the keywords. The golf site contains <golf> as the first keyword on the home page and as big title, using h1 tags. However this a very general term, so a very competitive keyword. So I just want to make sure that using such a keyword in the title, h1 tags and keywords list is part of that strategy to get high ranking?
Thank for your time and I would really appreciate an answer from you. |

Your page will certainly not hurt, but it is more constructive to have a page centered on a long tail (or medium tail) derivative keyword, such as
Top Rated Golf Resorts in Mexico
because it is much less competitive than golf and it will also rank well for golf (if you have a huge number of links) |
