Hi

This is my first post. I downloaded The Plan plus SILO last night.

I'm not sure if this is the place to post, but I applied the PLAN to my website:

www.bonsaitreecare.org

I have submitted to a few directories and so far submitted an article to
www.ezinearticles.com

I will post updates when there is something to tell.

Thanks
April

Hi April,

This is great start for a single night's effort.

You've kept it clean and simple, and...

PUBLISHED!

That's important. Don't be anal about getting everything 'just so'. Web sites evolve, so at some point you have to commit to yourself that it's ready and start taking action. You can have the best "Plan" site on the web, but unless you announce it - no one will ever know.

I like the clean simple look of your Contact Us page. Do you mind sharing what script/service you are using to run the form?

Cheers

I like the look and feel.

Great graphic and logo that dont overwhelm the page.

You might consider Arial as a font - but just a small idea.

Good luck!

It's a nice clean site. Simplicity can be more when done right.

I agree that Arial as the font would enhance the overall "feel", but it's not essential.

Well done!

John.

Hi! Your site is off to a good start, however my first piece of advice would be to add more words to your first page. At the moment, it just doesn't look like you have enough content there. Another thing I'd probably do (although it's not necessary, it's just what I do!) is I'd add a background color - not to where your text is, but to the area around the page (where your header and text is).

I have a basic Plan site up at http://herbalhealingguide.com (which I haven't yet added silos to, or any more complex formatting, it's still very basic - I think all it's got to distinguish it from your site is an RSS feed and a couple of extra links at the bottom) and you'll see what I mean about adding a background color.

I also agree that a font like Arial (or Verdana, which I use) would probably look nicer. Again though, it's up to you Smile

Cheers
Fiona

I am using frontpage 2003 to create my webpages. The contact page is created using frontpage forms.

RSS is something I have thought about, I have changed the site PHP. But now I don't know how to add RSS to the site.
