Getting ready to implement "The Plan" and trying to make a good pick for my PLR Article Content source.

Opinions on ArticleUnderground vs PLRPro from anyone who uses either or both?

Thanks!

I use Article Underground, because not only do you get great articles (some PLR sites really don't have much in the way of quality writing) but you also get the announcement system, which is worth more IMHO than the articles!

Now, another great PLR site is InfoGoRound.com Now, with this sytems you get lots of PLR articles (that don't expire each month, so every month you just get more - there's several months' worth of articles there already), AND what's even better, is that if you can write one decent 400 word article a month, they'll actually reimburse you your monthly fee! Basically, this means you have access to several thousand articles absolutely free Smile Of course, you've got to pay up front, but it's only $24.95 a month, and you get reimbursed at the end of the next month. So, to me, it's a darn good deal Smile

There's also a niche content site builder that comes with the system as well, which enables you to whip up websites with PLR very quickly.

Anyway, of all the PLR sites I've seen, these are the ones I'd recommend. Article Underground because of the high quality articles and article announcement system (and good level of support) and InfoGoRound for the rebate system, and the quantity and quality of the articles you get!

Cheers

Have you guys tried spinning your article content to make it look like a completely new article ?

I've done that and it does not show up as duplicate content.

I believe www.articlebot.com does that and www.parabuilder.com.

If you guys have some other sources, do let me know.

I could be wrong here but I don't think Charles would recommend using those "spinning" programs and sites. Most of the stuff they produce isn't real high quality. More spammy.

Thanks for the additional PLR source... appreciate that
recommendation! I will check it out.

In reviewing the webpage and videos, I've been really impressed with what I've seen of Article Underground and have been leaning in that direction.

My one concern is that their articles don't appear to be grouped by theme. I'm wanting to use The Plan to create niche sites (possible even authority sites) and was concerned that the content might be too "All Over The Place"?

For those using them, have you found that to be a challenge at all? That's the one thing that keeps me looking at PLRPro.

Thanks!

No, they're not grouped in themes, and the reason is (quite logically) that if they were, we'd all create sites using the exact same articles. This way, there's a bit more pick and choose... However, you'll usually find a bunch of articles that can be grouped together in topics. What I do, is I scan through the articles, get a feel for some of the topics, and make folders, then I just sort the articles into the folders (mind you - this can take ages!!)

In a way it would be easier if they were sorted, but the articles are higher quality than a lot of PR articles, and because the writers all get a choice what they want to write about, it's not so repetitive (because it's not one writer churning out 10 articles about the same topic ).

I think if you spend a few hours at the start sorting out the articles, though, you'll find it's worth it. Remember that the true value of AU comes from all those announcement blogs, not just the articles Smile

Well I guess me being the owner of plrpro I can give a short insight here.

ArticleUnderground do an excellent job and they are our only real Main competitor.

So who has a better service?

Well I can't say for sure as we both offer exceptional services.

What I can say is this.

Our members absolutely love plrpro, some of them are or used to be articleunderground members also.

We provide 440 articles per month, limited to 200 people per group (not sure what article underground limits too but it is quite alot more then 200)

Also we provide banner graphics, with original psd files.

Our own basic site builder program

Full keyword research for every niche

top 5 affiliate programs, and signup urls for each niche (for those that dont just want to use adsense)

We also have coming up our own Traffic System Sites with PR5 and some unique twists to that service.

Our price is $67 per month, but look below we are giving SEO2020 readers a 30% discount.

We will be increasing price to $97 per month within the next 4 weeks.

And basically we will do whatever we can for our members.

We also have in development a piece of software that will automatically upload plrpro articles into any wordpress site of your choice and you can set them be released throughout the month.

So yeah we do alot for our members and try to develop or improve at least one extra piece of software per month. As well as adding value to the membership.

Just finished doing some SEO and affiliate interviews with Mark Ling from www.affilorama.com which will be free for our members.

Also as just that one little step further.

If anyone from this forum would like to join plrpro we will give you a 30% discount.

Use the coupon code: special

And purchase at www.plrpro.com

So guys thats us in a condensed version, if you have any questions let me know because I will be more then happy to answer.

I actually just found this by searching msn for plrpro, I do that occasionally to find and help with posts like this.

And I found a great forum.. My background is SEO so I think I am going to like it here Smile

Regards

Waaahhh!! I just signed up for PLRPro yesterday and paid the full price Sad Ahh well, I guess $67 a month is better than $97. So now I can officially say I'm a member of both!

I can't give a direct comparison though, because I haven't yet built sites with PLRPro and haven't seen their new traffic system...Once they've got that happening I think they'll be fantastic!

At the moment I love AU because of its traffic system, which other PLR companies don't have...

For the record, AU offer 350 memberships for each set of 400 articles.

I recently joined another PLR membership site that I think is somewhat unique.

No extra software or anything like PLRPro or AU, but instead of articles, you get 20 PLR reports each month from WOW Niche Reports Resource. The reports are well written and the 20 reports typically span 10 different niches.

I've used the reports in different ways.

  • break a report up into multiple articles
  • break a report up into a series of course lessons and offer via autoresponder
  • use a report as an opt-in bonus
  • use the report as the basis of a larger info product

Low monthly fee, and older reports cannot be downloaded if you were not a member in the month they were offered, unless you retroactively pay that month's membership fee. This helps to keep from diluting the value of each report, while at the same time giving you a way to get your hands on an earlier report in your niche if you really want it.

FWIW, I'd like to vouch for what Marc is saying. I've been a member of PLRPro from the beginning and have found the content to be exeptional and the coaching to be superb. Got a question about Adwords? Daniel can help. Got a question on SEO? Marc will get you a quality answer.

The only problem I have found is that there is too much content. I think you'll find that those who follow "The Plan" and also PLRPro's "The Player's Handbook" on building a VRE empire will do quite well. They are very complimentary to each other.

I am also a member of Infogoround. That is a no-brainer. Like the dude said, all you have to do is write one quality article (that is approved which isn't hard) and your membership fee for the month is reimbursed.

With those two PLR sites for content plus following The Plan, you should do OK.
