Hello Charles
I tried to find your backlinks using google.com but it returned:
"Your search - link:http://www.seo2020.com - did not match any documents."
However when i searched the phrase "seo articles" your site was somewhere in the first 30 results.
Could it be that seo2020.com was penalized for too agressiv linkbuilding?

Google often won't show backlinks using the link: method - especially before a site is aged.
Try the link command on msn or yahoo and you'll probably see some results.
I just tried it with one of my sites (that has over 400 pages indexed in Google) and got 0 for a links result. The same site in msn brought back 159 results for the link: command.
I just tried the link: command for seo2020 in MSN and it came back with 384 results. Google knows about the backlinks but doesn't like to advertise it

Yep. I never use Google to check backlinks.
Go to Yahoo! and type this:
linkdomain:www.website.com -site:website.com -site:www.website.com |

As far as i know we are trying to get the best google rankings for our sites by following THE PLAN which is written based on google search algorithm. So yahoo or msn indexed backlinks are telling us nothing about backlinks indexed by google SE... but i can be wrong with that

SEO 20/20 is less than 2 months old. I wouldn't expect backlinks to show in Google until they do their next update.
SEO 20/20 is climbing in the ranks so I can see no indication of any kind of penalization. I build backlinks very carefully. |
