What is a squeeze page?
A squeeze page is a page with just enough information to
build up enough curiosity in a visitor that they leave
their name and email address to receive an offer or more
information.
We have set up a pre-made squeeze page for you already
but you may want to make your own so that you can
collect the names and email addresses yourself. There
are many benefits to building your own email list.
Be sure to replace YOURID in the link above with your
actual PPP affiliate ID.
How does this squeeze page work?
This page shows a brief video to your visitors so that
they can get enough of the concept of PPP in mind to get
excited or curious and then leave their name or email
address to receive more information.
After your visitor signs up then they will receive
periodic follow ups from our auto-responder system. The
follow up emails happen automatically and in sequence. Your
affiliate ID is embedded in each email that is sent during
the follow up sequence.
When your visitor finally signs up, you will get the
credit and you will see them under you in the
stats area.
A squeeze page (opt-in) page is a very basic Internet
marketing skill that will increase your conversions (visitor
to sign-up ratio) over time. This is a proven fact and this
is the goal of the pre-made squeeze page or any squeeze page
for that matter.
Collect Your Own Email Addresses and Make Money Now
While Getting PPP Sign-ups...
Pay Per Play offers the perfect opportunity for you to
build a valuable email list that could produce revenue
for you right away. You can let us do it for you if you
are a beginner, but if you have the ambition, it will be
much better for you if you build your own prospect list
and build your own email follow up system.
Why?
Because you can earn money with your list...
You could create your oen squeeze page or copy the template
from the one that we provide above. When people opt-in
to your squeeze page you then have permission from the
subscriber to send them follow up emails.
You can follow up with your PPP prospects for a few days
and then you could start sprinkling some of your own
offers into the mix... offers that you get paid on.
There are thousands of affiliate programs that you can
join and then promote to your prospects through your
email list.
This is also a great way to get people coming back to
your website. When you signed up for PPP training here
at SEO20/20 you entered into an automatic email follow
up series that brings you back to this website to read
new tutorials.
You could use a similar concept, offer valuable
information to gain good readership and then your
readers (your email list) will be far more likely to buy
products or services based on your recommendation.
If you send your email prospects a bunch of junk and
garbage then you will lose them just as quickly as you
gained them because they will unsubscribe and never look
back.
Email List Management...
There are several tools available on the market that
will allow you to easily manage your email list that you
collect with your squeeze page. Do not try to email your
list yourself unless you have the time and resources to
automatically handle people that unsubscribe from your list and have
enough pull with the major ISPs to ensure that your
email reaches your recipients.
Email deliverability is a huge issue because all the
spammers out there have made it tough for those of us
that do things the right way. Instead of entering a
spammer's battle, I prefer to use the expertise of
professionals in the field of email deliverability.
Sellingppp.com
& SEO2020.com use the services of
Aweber. We use Aweber because it has very powerful
features that allow you to manage and mail to your
prospects and they have very good delivery because they
are white listed with all the major ISPs (Internet
Service Providers).
I have been marketing online for over 12 years and have tried just
about every email list management system out there
ranging in price from a few hundred dollars a month to
$30,000 (USD) per month. The problem with all of these
email delivery services is that they always lose their
deliverability.
In other words, over time, the amount of people on your
email list that actually receive your broadcasts gets
smaller and smaller. Sure you could use more expensive
and robust systems that rotate domain names, and class C
IP addresses but in the long run it makes no sense.
Spammers have to do that kind of stuff but fortunately
you don't.
If you build a quality list using Aweber (who
automatically ensures your deliverability) then you will
build an asset that does not break down over time.
Aweber is surprisingly inexpensive $20 per month
instead of hundreds or thousands of dollars and you can
manage all of your email lists with one account, import
data through hidden fields like we do with your
affiliate ID at the PPP website, download your list,
click tracking, full statistics, the list goes on.
Unless you are willing to do all of these things on your
own then go with professionals. Outsourcing is a
fundamental skill in online marketing, if you don't do
it, you will get caught in the details instead of seeing
the big picture. Let professionals handle the details
especially if they are as affordable as Aweber.
Outsourcing saves you time... and time is definitely
money in this business.
Aweber is full of tutorials that will walk you through
the process of getting your email list set up and
integrating it with your website to create a squeeze
page. All you
have to do then is add your Aweber form to your squeeze
page and you are ready to go.
Learning how to turn traffic into action from your
visitors is a powerful skill to own in the online
marketplace. Master this fundamental aspect and you are
well on your way to turning your PPP business (or nay
other online business) into a profit powerhouse.
Always remember to never take advantage of your loyal
subscribers and remember to always give them accurate
advice and profitable ideas and they will support you
and your lifestyle for years to come.
Sending Follow Up Emails to Subscribers...
You need to spend some time building what is called a
follow up email sequence or auto-responder series (ARS).
Your ARS is a series of emails designed to sell a
product or service.
In the case of PPP you are trying to convince your
subscribers to sign up to PPP. This should be your
primary goal for about 7 - 10 emails but after you get
to the second or third email, start sprinkling in little
tidbits of advice to help your people build their PPP
business much like I am doing with this tutorial series.
In this series I am striving to cover topics that I feel
will be important to you. Of course I am not a mind
reader so here comes another fundamental element of
Internet marketing... Surveying your audience
(market research).
Right now you are my target audience so in order for me
to know what you need I have to ask you. In order to
help me help you contact me
here and I will use your questions to determine what
needs to be covered.
This is market research at its finest. Do something that
turns your prospect list into a valuable life-long
asset. The goal of SEO20/20 is to teach you all the
skills you need to grow a successful online business and
it is my intent to do so through example.
As you build your email list, you should also work to
build a relationship with that list. People in the PPP
business have an interest in enhancing their PPP
business help them, genuinely and you can achieve great
things.
Survey them, involve them, discover what they need and
want and cater to it.
You can even create a squeeze page for something totally
unrelated to PPP... You could write a free report and
draw people in to leave their name and email address and
then offer them the PPP opportunity as just ONE of your
offers. Use your imagination, do some research with
Google, look at other squeeze pages on other websites...
Gain ideas that will help you make decisions.
Decide what you are going to do and then stay the
course. Whatever you do, do not deviate from your main
goal when you are half way there.
Always remember that
quality will always rule over quantity. Go for
relationships, not quick sales. Build assets not
liabilities.
