How to set up a professional looking PPP business...

Note: The training on this page is specific to the PPP opportunity. The links to the right are not specific to the PPP opportunity. The links to the right are general online business building tutorials. The learn what SEO20/20 is all about click on SEO20/20 above.

If you want to hook bigger fish on the PPP opportunity then you must take care to look as professional as possible.

#1 THE BIG RULE...

Do not ever send a link to (in a signature or otherwise) your PPP website unless a website owner has already asked you for more information. It may seem contrary but this method actually works far better that sending website owners your affiliate link right away.

I know I have already stated this rule (here) but I just want to stress this point because many people still seem to ignore it and then wonder why they are having little to no success.

Website owners (or anyone else) do not like spam. If you send a link to a website owner in your first communication with them then you are spamming. You are in effect sending unsolicited commercial email and will get little to no response from anyone. This is highly unprofessional and will be regarded as such.

Be patient, the PPP business will be much more rewarding if you follow protocol. I have been doing this stuff for over 12 years online, I know what works and what doesn't work. Please follow my advice to save yourself from potentially getting your Internet service disrupted because of spam complaints.

#2 Choose, Forward and Mask Your Domain Name...

The following is a brief tutorial submitted by a fellow PPP member Keith Scheafer...

For those of you who are a little more hands on and want to register a domain for yourself and forward your own long affiliate link here it is and it only take 5 minutes after you find a register a domain name.

I personally use http://www.godaddy.com it's very user friendly and reliable.

The cost for a domain name is $10 for a year, their forwarding service is free. REMEMBER, the shorter the domain name the better, you want to make it easy to remember and easy to type into a browser.

You don't need web hosting or any of the other add on services, just go to quick checkout.

You will need to keep track of your account number and password so you can login into godaddy and use the forwarding feature.

Assuming you are logged into your new account then login and roll your mouse over "domains". Then click on "MY DOMAINS" you will see your domain name there click on it.

on he next page in the middle of the green menu bar you will see "forward" with the arrow pointing to the right. Click on it and put the button in the enabled choice.

Then copy and paste the long url (your affiliate URL)  into the "Forward to" field and then click on the "masking" tab.

Put a check mark into the "Mask Domain" box, for the title you can put anything you want.

I personally put "Get Paid for Every Visitor" this will show up on their browser when visitors click on your link.

Now click on the Orange "OK" tab on the lower right hand side and your DONE, you can repeat this process for any domains you want. $10 for a year is a cheap way to look professional

This tutorial was provided by Keith Scheafer http:///www.keithscheafer.com

Keith basically shows you how to register a domain name and then have that domain forward to your affiliate link automatically while masking it at the same time. Masking is just another word for "cloaking" so that nobody can mess with your affiliate link and circumvent your efforts.

Want to look even more professional?

Register a domain name with Godaddy or any other registrar and set up hosting and then use a 100% frame to keep prospects within your domain throughout the entire process.

Once you have set up your web hosting account then create an index.html page using the following code:

Modify the code above where it says YOUR AFFILIATE LINK GOES HERE, replace the text with your actual affiliate link and then save the file as index.html and upload it to your web hosting account.

When anyone visits your domain name they will stay within your domain 100% throughout the entire sign-up process. They will never see your long affiliate link.

Help is available...

Conclusion

Ideally you will never share your long affiliate link (example: http://www.sellingppp.com/s.cgi?ppp=1234567890), instead you should share your own top level domain name like:

  • AUDIO-PAY-NETWORK.COM

  • AUDIOADNET.COM

  • AUDIOADSERVICE.COM

  • AUDIOFORPLAY.COM

  • FAST-WEB-AUDIO.COM

  • FASTNETAUDIO.COM

  • LISTEN-ADS.COM

  • MYPAY-PER-PLAYDEPOT.COM

  • NETADS2EARS.COM

  • NETAUDIOPROS.COM

  • PERPLAYAUDIO.COM

  • PPP-WEBAUDIOADS.COM

All of the domain names above have been set up using the code from the text box above. Go ahead and visit one, you will see that the user stays within the domain without leaving and the affiliate is credited throughout the process. Best of all their actual affiliate link is completely hidden from view.

When a website owner asks you for more information about PPP what link would you rather share with them?

Your long ugly affiliate link or your professional looking top-level domain name?

It has been proven that the top level domain will get 5 to 1 more signups than an affiliate link. If you are serious about promoting the PPP opportunity then your choice should be clear.
