"The very first thing that struck me by the time that I had read the first dozen pages, was that this document is very well written. The style is businesslike and the complete absence of hype was extremely welcome!

The whole strategy of working WITH the Search Engines and not trying to beat them by some back door method makes an awful lot of sense.
 
Latent Semantic Indexing was an eye opener for me - I had no idea some of the Search Engines were already clever enough to come close to searching intuitively like humans. If you want high SE rankings, simple analogous keyword research is clearly no longer good enough - by a BIG margin! The Master Plan shows us just how to employ LSI in identifying niches and then building sites taking the 'Silo' approach, that will rank well and attract great traffic ... in a sustainable way. Equally important is the advice given about how to scale up our own endeavors to create a substantial business, over time.
 
While Charles has not come up with a Mission Statement in any official sense, I think the following paragraph does a very good job of that for him.
 
"The Master Plan will take you through the phases from the ground up of building an online asset. My definition of an online asset is a web property that adheres to the laws of the WWW and is built to withstand future search engine algorithm changes. It is a web property that holds "true value" and will sustain a residual income regardless of temporary or permanent search engine algorithm fluctuations."
